A fine and impressive antique Victorian 9k yellow gold hand painted miniature portrait pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 9k yellow gold.
The pendant displays a hand painted miniature depicting a young lady being entertained by a young man dancing in front of her. Both are in period costume from the early-mid 18th Century.
The miniature painting is held in an oval 9k yellow gold frame embellished with undulating ribbon design chased decoration.
The reverse of this Victorian pendant is plain and unembellished.
This versatile item is fitted with a plain, integrated ring loop to the upper border permitting it to be suspended from a neck chain as a pendant if so desired.
This antique 1870s painted pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9k gold.
Condition
This impressive original antique pendant is exceptional quality displaying a beautifully hand painted scene. The pendant is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition.
