About the Item
This designer pendant necklace from the Ink collection features a sky blue natural quartz set in sterling silver. The large 15x15x3 mm stone is cut in a unique shape that evokes the art deco style, while the overall design is contemporary and fashionable. The Ink collection has been featured in Harper's Bazaar and Vogue UA.
The pale blue quartz is transparent and allows light to pass through, creating a delicate and tender appearance. When worn, the gemstone touches the skin, making it an ideal choice for those interested in Ayurveda. The blue tone is perfect for spring trends and complements pastel-colored clothing and cashmere. Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
