Ancient Roman 4th Century AD Constantius II Coin Diamonds 18K Gold Pendant

About the Item

An authentic silver "siquila" coin from the realm of Emperor Constantius II (struck 347-355 AD) depicts him in profile: pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed. This rare silver coin was holed in antiquity, and we set a small 1.8mm VS1 diamond in the hole. Constantius II was the son of Constantine the Great, who converted the Roman Empire to Christianity. He ruled the Roman Empire from 337 to 361 AD, a time in which his religious policies caused lasting divisions within the empire, contributing to the schism between Eastern and Western Christianity. This rare coin is set within a handmade 18K line textured bezel with a 2mm VS1 diamond accent below. It is sent with a lifetime laminate coin certificate of authenticity. The 18K handmade hammered chain shown is not included, but can be ordered additionally. It comes in 18”, 20”, and 24” lengths. We discount our chains 20% when ordered with a pendant. Historic!
