George III Diamond and Enamel Navette Pendant, circa 1790
About the Item
A George III diamond and enamel navette-shaped sentimental pendant, circa 1790. The pendant has been executed in the French manner, having an old cut diamond border, leading to a purple guilloche enameled ground, with a pear shaped old-cut diamond to the centre, and a rose cut diamond set bow and garland surround. The pendant is fronted in silver, and backed in 9 karat gold with a engraved border.
