About the Item

Birdseye Kingman turquoise dog tag pendant. The 1 1/2” x 1” turquoise is in a sterling silver setting on a 31” ball chain. The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest producing turquoise mines in North America. It was discovered by Native Americans over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful blue color and the mine produces many variations of blue turquoise. The mine also produces turquoise with a wonderful "Birdseye" or "Water Web" matrix pattern along with beautiful Spider web matrix patterns. About the Artist Aldrich Art is a cottage industry currently located in southern Colorado. A husband and wife team, Benny and Valerie Aldrich started their careers as jewelers more than 40 years ago in a teepee near Prescott, Arizona. Now, with their jewelry featured in galleries across the nation, they maintain the superior quality of their inlayed jewelry by keeping their business small and true to its roots. Benny and Valerie feel that their purpose in creating jewelry is to express perfection and love for themselves and others using the elements of the land and the sea to capture and enjoy the beautiful side of nature.
