This stunning, fine and impressive Regency era cabochon cut jewelry set has been crafted in 8k and 9k yellow gold.
The jewellery set is composed of drop earrings and a necklace with a removable cross pendant.
The twenty-four 8k yellow gold links that make up the necklace are each set with a bezel set cabochon cut garnet.
The detachable cross pendant is ornamented with a further four cabochon cut garnets and single bezel set 1.12Ct Old European round cut diamond.
The 9k yellow gold drop style earrings each display a bezel set oval cabochon cut garnet, and are each accented with a single Old European round cut diamond.

The year letter is too rubbed to be legible. The screw on lid is decorated with the initial M, the sides of the bottle are engraved with a flower. The little bottle is in fine condition and has no dents.
The scent bottle can be worn on a chain like the one worn by my life size mannequin.

Details:
A stunning unique antique pendant in 22K yellow gold with 11 gemstones, and studded with diamonds, engraved and adorned with enamel work. Originally an armband, and later converted to a pendant. Both sides are adorned, and enameled. The backside engraving and enamel work has birds and floral theme. Much of the enamel has worn, but it doesn't detract from the unique beauty of this piece. Both the bail and the pearl were added at some point when this armband was converted to a pendant.
The main arm band is 22K gold (tested 22K), the bail is 14K as well as the pearl and were added later.
History:
A rare late 18th or early 19th Century Indian Mughal "Bazuband or Bajuband" with 11 gemstones (North India, Lucknow). Originally an armband of rectangular form with hinged attachments on either, in the manner of a "Navaratna", this piece has been converted to a pendant at some point.

Fantastic Oversized antique French brooch.
A very nice early French piece, created during the Georgian period, around the 1810's. Carefully crafted in solid .830/1000 sterling silver and suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin with a hook lock.
Is embellished, with a mix of larger quartz gems cuts and small simulated gemstones in paste.
Excellent workmanship with black dots and prong set on top of the silver with open backs.
Paste, is a gem like material made from a secret formula of leaded glass invented by George Ravenscroft, a 17th century London glassmaker and later perfected by George Strass, an 18th century French jeweler, designed to resemble precious gemstones.
This piece is pretty heavy and large with a total weight of 87.4 grams and a measures of 90 mm by 83 mm (3.52 by 3.28 inches).
Stamped, with multiples French hallmarks; three times with the maker's maitre cartouche and three times with the boar head, for the assay and guaranty of the .830 silver.
Note: This piece have remains of the original gilding in some parts of the reverse.

Art Nouveau era 18K gold diamond swallow lily flower pocket watch pendant
Located in Versailles, FR
For sale a beautiful French work, Art Nouveau era, pocket watch pendant with one swallow and enameled lily flower with its leaves. The swallow is set with 8 diamonds in rose cut style, and the floral motifs are enameled in green, red and gold with different shades colors. The round-shaped pendant has been hallmarked and tested for 18K yellow gold. The back of the pendant is the dial of the watch, which needs to be revised.
The quality of the enameling as well as the goldsmith skills are excellent. The artistic style of the design also reflects a strong influence from the Japanese art during that period. The shapes, contours and relief of this lovely Art Nouveau pendant remind us of sculpture, and its use of color closely resembles that of painting, which makes this piece extremely charming.
Swallows and lily flowers also have a strong symbolism in the antique jewelry. They are considered as the symbol of hope and rebirth.
