One Retro Austrian Diamond Ruby Emerald 14k Tri Color Pendant Necklace. Featuring two emerald cut diamonds and 18 old European and old mine cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 2.90 carats graded near-colorless, SI-I1 clarity. Accented by eight rectangular step cut rubies with a total weight of approximately 1.35 carats, and four rectangular step cut emeralds with a total weight of approximately 0.45 carat. Crafted in 14 karat white, rose, and yellow gold with Austrian hallmarks. 18 karat yellow gold chain with French hallmarks included. Circa 1940. The necklace is 19 ½ inches in length. It begins as a dance of 14 karat yellow, white, and rose gold, overlapping one another as they stretch from side to side - ultimately finding a center in four rectangular step cut emeralds cinching the middle of the metal to create this dynamic foundational form. Waltzing around the bow are bursts of old European and old mine cut diamonds, like fireworks that ultimately cascade through its center. As the diamonds cascade, the edges of the bow furl, making way for a passionate punctuation of crimson rubies, dazzling in their long, lean facets and ability to wash a warm glow over the whole pendant.
