About
Wonderful vintage sterling silver Baltic "Egg Yolk" Amber pendant with the original 875 silver chain.
According to the little historical that we have, the necklace and pendant were purchased together at the same store in Russia many years ago.
The pendant has wonderful Calla Lily design on the top which holds a large Amber stone.
On the bail is the hallmark of a head profiled right, 925 and a letter above the 925.
The necklace has a bow tie loop and measures 25 inches from end to end. The clasp is an old style shepherds crook closure which works perfectly.
There are also hallmarks in three places, one of which is 875 for silver purity. These are most likely Russian considering the origin.
