Victorian Half Pearl and Diamond Necklace

A magnificent mid-Victorian natural peal, emerald and diamond pendant, to the centre a natural pearl measuring approximately 7.7mm in diameter, surrounded by a lozenge-shaped frame set with four rectangular-cut emerald and eight old European-cut diamonds, with four outstretching diamond-set bow-like motifs, all within an outer oval border set with emerald-cut emeralds, and flanked with four smaller natural pearls each measuring approximately 4.9mm in diameter, suspending a detachable natural pearl drop with rose-cut diamond cap, the pearl measuring approximately 11.2 x 8.6mm, accompanied by certificate stating that all pearls are natural of saltwater origin, all surmounted by a diamond-set pendant loop, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1.5 carats in total, the emeralds estimated to weigh 1.5 carat in total, all mounted in yellow gold, with a fancy link chain, with original fitted case, circa 1850, the pendant measuring approximately 6 x 2.8cm, the chain measuring approximately 41 x 0.3cm, gross weight 28.6 grams A gorgeous nineteenth century pendant from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. A stunning antique Victorian seed pearl and crystal, 15 karat yellow gold necklace; part of our diverse antique estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique necklace has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. The feature setting has a floriated paired leaf design, ornamented to the center with a cabochon cut crystal. A further two cabochon cut crystals are displayed to the terminal of two asymmetrical pair leaf design linear drops. Each crystal is ornamented with a seed pearl set diagonal band. The floriated setting is embellished with a total of one hundred and sixty-seven pavé and bezel set seed pearls, varying in size depending on position. The necklace chain is composed of one hundred and three individual seed pearl set links, securing to the reverse with a rectangular push fit fastening. The necklace benefits from the addition security of a fine link safety chain. This antique Victorian pearl and crystal necklace is fitted to the original leatherette, satin and velvet lined push fit presentation case. The necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold.
