About the Item
I Love you more than yesterday but Less than tomorrow is written on the 18Kt Augis Heart Love Token. Inscribed in French "Plus Qu hier Que Demain" the heart is set with a tiny diamond and a ruby. A love pendant by Augis is a combination of romance, history and love. It bridges love from the past to the future.
The message on all Augis love token pendants derives from a poem written by Rosemond Gerard to her husband the author of Cerano de Bergerac. Rosemond was the granddaughter of a French Prime Minister. The poem, "The Eternal Song" from which the words originated was written in the 19th Century. I will include the contemporary gold chain with your purchase if needed, Simply ask.
Excellent Condition. 5/8 of an inch diameter and is 7/8 of an inch high, Weight 1.73 grams
In 18kt gold with small rubies and a diamond, this is a heart made c. 1960. This token never has to be removed just as the love it brings never ends. The heart is 18Kt with a tiny diamond and a ruby. In French the Augis love token says “Plus Qu hier Que Demain which tranlates to “I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.” The message on all Augis love token pendants derives from a poem written by Rosemond Gerard to her husband the author of Cerano de Bergerac.
