THIS IS A SUPERB ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE OF A CAT OR KITTEN ON A SPOOL OF THREAD.
This wonderful antique Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) dates to circa 1900-1920. The bronze is very possibly made by Bergmann although it is not signed.
It features the most wonderful cat or kitten on a spool of thread. The cat has lovely striped fur, a wonderful face and whiskers.
The thread is moveable on the spool. The bronze is just adorable.
The figure is 2 1/4 inches (6 cm) tall and 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) wide. The bronze is solid.
