William Tolliday. was born in 1915 and worked his entire career as a master goldsmith for Garrard & Co., London. In the late 1960s he began creating his fairytale castle of gold, sitting on beautiful minerals. This version of Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, was made in 1969 for Garrard & Co . It is crafted of 18 karat and 22 karat red, yellow and white gold. Everything is in miniature with amazing detail from the flags flying on the turrets to the windows I
