Miniature Brass French Carriage Clock with Key
About the Item
Imported from France by well known New York City importer Charles Jacque (1855-1950), this miniature carriage clock, height 4-1/2 inches x width 3-1/8 inches, is marked CJCC by the importer.
The clock case is made of brass and has beveled glass on all four sides and gives view to timepiece's gears. The back door opens for winding by its brass key. Estimated CJCC imported between 1883-1915. Freshly serviced and in working condition with key for winding. Makes a fine object of interest for vanity, mantle or desk.
