About the Item
An original design by Eytan Brandes presents the perfect union of yellow gold and diamonds. Instead of the gold serving primarily as a delivery system for the stones, this ring gives both components a starring role.
Eytan's favorite metal is 18 karat yellow gold, and here he sanded the ring to a satiny matte finish that both emphasizes the rich gold color and complements the sparkle of the bright white diamonds.
Thanks to meticulous hammer settings, the diamonds appear to have simply dropped into the gold and decided to stay because they look so great together!
The twelve diamonds range from 0.025 to 0.31 carats and are H color, SI1 clarity with a total weight of 1.32 carats.
The ring's pronounced undulation in front is striking on the hand, but extremely comfortable to wear. The lack of prongs or pavé means it's easy to keep clean and won't snag on sweaters or stockings. It's the perfect "casual" diamond ring for the woman whose "casual" is anything but casual.
Measurements: The front of the ring is 7.5mm ( just under ⅓"), tapering to 3.4mm in back.
Marks: The inside of the band is stamped "18K" and signed by Eytan Brandes.
Sizing: According to the mandrel, this ring is size 6.25, but it fits more like a 6.5 because the front is concave. Resizing is complimentary for full-price customers and negotiable otherwise.
Weight: The ring weighs 7.2 grams in total, of which the diamonds account for 1.32 carats (.29 grams).
