Retro Star Ruby Diamond Platinum Band
About the Item
Beautifully hand made platinum band from ca 1940 featuring an oval cabochon star ruby measured to weigh approximately 8.5 carats. The dome shaped ruby displays a wonderful 6 legged star when light hits the surface. Set in a heavy bezel of platinum the center gem is embellished by 2 rectangular step-cut, 2 French cut and 1 marquis cut diamond on either side of the shank. Ring size 6. Can only be sized down a bit by laser inserting either 2 gold spheres of a spring ring.
