About the Item

This exquisite ring is a creative interpretation of the classic cluster ring. At its centre is a luminous green emerald, beautifully clear and weighing 1.30 ct. 18 diamonds in brilliant and baguette cuts surround the central gemstone, weighing 2.57 ct altogether. Thus contrasted, the gemstones enhance each other, achieving a particularly intense effect. The emerald and diamonds are set into high carat white gold, as was common at the time. Through their white colour, the settings appear almost invisible, letting the gemstones take centre stage. The settings are placed at different height levels, so that a bold, sculptural character is achieved. The ring is typical of the years around 1970, when cluster rings set with a single coloured gemstone in their centre were particularly sought after. The ring will be delivered with the certificate of an independent gemological laboratory.
