About the Item

A stunning antique 1900's French import 2.17 carat diamond and 18 karat yellow gold, 18 karat white gold set cluster ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond cluster ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pierced decorated, 18k white gold cluster design displays a stunning feature 1.68 ct Old European cut diamond, multi-claw set in relief to the center. A further fourteen claw set diamonds frame the feature diamond, in a combination of Old European cuts, transitional modern brilliant round cuts and eight-cuts. The subtly elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and are ornamented with a groove decoration, melding with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is struck to the outer surface of the shank with the French import mark for 18k gold (75 upon an owl). This antique French import dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
