A fine and impressive antique French 2.85 carat natural ruby and 0.75 carat diamond, 18 karat rose gold, platinum set dress ring; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections This impressive antique French dress ring has been crafted in 18k rose gold with a platinum setting. The substantial and impressive pierced decorated frame displays a feature 2.85ct oval cut natural ruby collet set in relief to the centre. The ruby is bordered by fourteen eight- cut diamonds, four claw set in platinum to the outer cushion shaped design. A further four transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds displayed at each corner complete the design. The elevated, subtly flared, pierced decorated shoulders integrate almost seamlessly with the hallmarked plain 18k rose gold ring shank. The exterior of the shank is hallmarked with the French eagle's head and maker's mark. This fine rose gold ruby ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
