A Ring from the period of my Grandmother's childhood in solid 18K Yellow Gold with a crown in Silver holding natural Cornflower / Light Blue Sapphire of oval diamond cut 10 mm x 7 mm x 3.33 mm / ca. 2.5 ct. Stone demonstrates two spectacular Nebulosa with thousands of peculiar micro-inclusions, silk, and color zoning. Light Blue Color, transparent stone - image 9 shows the texture of the finger's skin seen through the stone. Likely of Ceylon origin. Swedish hallmarks, 18K, Malmö, maker's GD&Co, date code H8 / hand-made in 1934. Size Ø 6.25 US / 16.71 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight: 1.7 grams. In finest used condition. Very secure setting.
