Antique old mine diamond coronet cluster ring. Set centrally with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.25 carats, encircled by a single row of ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined weight of 2.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.45 carats, to a large oval flora form featuring fine curving claws, intricately pierced open gallery and shaped backholing, the elaborate split shoulders include carved floral and foliate motifs which lead through to a tapering ridged shank. Tested yellow gold, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-8675.
