Art Deco diamond ring, American, circa 1935.
About the Item
Art Deco emerald-cut diamond ring. Set vertically with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond to centre in an open back rubover millegrain setting, with a weight of 0.85 carats, accompanied by a row of eight rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with a weight of 0.80 carats, surrounded by a group of round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, further diamonds set to shoulders, twenty two in total, with a combined weight of 0.90 carats. The total diamond weight is approximately 2.55 carats, to an elegant geometric rectangular openwork cluster with scroll motifs on the gallery with fancy backholing, the shoulders leading smoothly down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1935. UK finger size M.
