Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire Three-Row Ring
About the Item
A ruby, diamond and sapphire three row ring, the three rings set with oval-cut ruby estimated to weigh 0.35 carats, old brilliant-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.5 carats and oval-cut sapphire estimated to weigh 0.45 carats, each flanked by two smaller old brilliant-cut diamonds, all claw set to a gold collets to a plain bands joined at the base, circa 1950, the head measuring approximately 1.3 x 1.8cm, finger size M 1/2, gross weight 5.3 grams.
The ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
This beautiful ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This ring features three bands, the top featuring a vivid central ruby, the centre featuring a bright diamond, and the bottom featuring a lush sapphire. All three central stones are flanked by further lively diamonds. This unique and versatile ring gives the illusion of three stacked rings. Stylish and colourful, this ring is perfect for everyday wear.
