Turn of the Century Pearl and Diamond Tablet Ring
About the Item
A turn of the century pearl and diamond tablet ring, set vertically with three round pearls of different colours to the centre of an openwork old brilliant-cut diamond-set surround, circa 1900, head measuring 2.2x1.2cm, gross weight 5.1 grams. Finger size N 1/2
This ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
A beautiful early twentieth century pearl and diamond ring. This ring features a lovely openwork platinum plaque set throughout with lively diamonds. Set into the plaque are three pearls, each with a different luminous hue. The top pearl is a gentle shade of lilac, the middle a creamy white, and the bottom a slightly deeper purple. Together, the three pearls combine beautifully and are well complemented by the twinkling diamonds that surround them. This lovely ring comes from the antique ring collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
