An iconic Bulgari Trombino ring made of 18k gold, featuring sapphire and diamond. The Trombino ring is one of the most recognizable among Bulgari’s designs. The name derives from the Italian word for "little trumpet," reflecting the ring's unique shape, which resembles the mouthpiece of a trumpet. The design of the Trombino ring was first introduced by Bulgari in the 1930s. Typically, the Trombino ring features a center gemstone surrounded by smaller accent stones. As to this particular ring, the center stone is a gorgeous four-prong set cabochon sapphire. The broad shank is encrusted with round cut diamonds and a row of horizontally graduated baguette cut diamonds. The stones taper down from the central gemstone. It is not re-sizable, but can be sized a little bit close to its original size.
