21st Century 18 Karat Yellow Gold Jade Tsavorite and Diamond Dragonfly Earrings
About the Item
These spectacular 18-karat yellow gold drop earrings feature vibrant jade stones framed by a single row of cognac-coloured brown diamonds. Between the two jade stones, a dragonfly just alighted, is set with brilliant tsavorites and white diamonds.
They convert to a second gorgeous pair of earrings! The jade stones detach from the dragonfly with a simple hook, creating a second set of smaller earrings.
Created entirely by hand from 18-karat gold and featuring 1.72 carats of brown diamonds, this objet d'art is inspired by and made directly from the brilliance and wonder of the natural world. The earrings come with postbacks but a custom backing can be created if preferred though alterations mean the earrings cannot be returned.

If you haven't yet seen them, tsavorites are a gemstone from the garnet family that was discovered in 1967 in Tanzania and again in Kenya in 1971, near the Tsavo East National Park. Tiffany & Co took such an interest in this green gemstone which ranges in colour from light to a deep, rich green that they proposed the name tsavorite in honour of the park.

The FANCS V workshop is situated in the heart of Sicily's capital city, Palermo. The jeweller is a three-generation Sicilian family business owned and run by Simona Elia and her husband Natale Vitale. Created by Natale's grandfather, FANCS V has grown from a goldsmith shop into a design studio where Simona, who trained in Milan, contributes signature collections to complement the custom pieces Natale produces for a dedicated client base.
