About the Item
The Caribbean Night Sky Oval Ring captures the Caribbean sky at night with tiny glimpses of stars in Lapis Lazuli. It includes the signature rosebuds found within Angely Martinez Jewelry, in silver with a burnished set diamond.
The ring’s shape is inspired by Hellenistic period, specifically the vases and the shapes of other objects. It is one of the designer’s favorite periods in terms of objects.
The piece is made out of solid sterling silver (.925), fine silver (.999), Fairtrade Chilean Lapis Lazuli, and a small embedded diamond on the rosebuds.
Please do not swim, shower, or do physical activities with your ring. It will eventually damage the metal structure.
The ring was hand-fabricated in New York City by the designer in her studio, and with the support of artisans in the city’s Diamond District.
The ring comes in a size 6.5 and it is perfect for everyday wear.

Angely Martinez
Born in Dominican Republic, Angely Martinez is an award-winning jewelry designer and metalsmith based in New York City. Her work is influenced by the beauties of nature and the world of fantasy with a touch of Romanticism and the Baroque. These are themes that she has been obsessed with since childhood. Previously, she has worked in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler for fine jewelry companies, where she was able to master her craft. She's a former participant of Bijules Incubator, a talent development program, where she built her debut collection, VERMILLION. This selection of one-of-a-kind (OOAK) silver jewels for 1st Dibs will be her last installment of OOAK pieces made in such metal, becoming collectible items. In 2023, she will begin transitioning her business mostly into gold.
