About the Item
This "Magic Beetle" ring is a one of a kind contemporary jewellery hand sculpted by the French jeweller Binliang Alexander Peng.
It's a unisex ring and a collectible wearable art piece.
The ring is heavy, approximately 85 grams.
"Since my childhood, I have always been attracted by the mysterious world of ancient Egypt.
It was, for me, a world filled with symbol and magic."
In ancient Egypt, the scarab represents the god Khepri, symbol of the rebirth of the Sun.
An emerald of about 3 carat is embedded in a piece of vintage earthenware in the shape of a beetle.
All around the beetle, more than 200 stones set in paving (Tsavorites, Spinels, Diamonds, Sapphires, Amethysts, Garnets)
The ring is made of 13.2 grams of 750 (18k) gold and 70 grams of 925 silver.
The French size of this ring is 57-58.

Binliang Alexander Peng
I am a French Artist Jeweller based in Paris. In my workshop, I work with gold (18k), silver, and gems. All pieces are unique and hand made by myself. My inspiration comes from day-to-day life. My childhood has also a big place in my work. I attended the School of Fine Arts in Lyon after a class preparatory.
I then started to make paintings, sculptures, and photographs. It is also at this time that I began to make jewelry as an autodidact for my pleasure because I could not find jewelers making unisex pieces to my liking.

They are the bases of my vision of the world. My inspiration can be a stone, a poem, a dish, a feeling, an exchange, or an encounter...
