Antique Diamond Ring 18ct White Gold- French Stamped Circa 1920s Transport yourself to the 1920s with this exquisite example of French jewellery design. This authentic Art Deco solitaire ring features a breathtaking centre stone held in a distinctive, architectural high-prong setting— a dramatic, elevated open-basket setting that allows maximum light to flood the diamond from all angles, a hallmark of 1920s French elegance. The "Owl" hallmark (the Poinçon Hibou) on the exterior of the band confirms its French heritage, historically used to denote 18ct gold items of high quality. The centre stone is a high-fire, brilliant-cut diamond with exceptional life and light return. With an estimated carat weight of approximately 0.80ct, in our opinion, colour: G (near colourless) and VVS clarity – exceptionally clean, even under 10x magnification. Unlike modern mass-produced rings, this piece carries the soul of the Art Deco movement. The French "Owl" hallmark is highly sought after by collectors, representing both the gold's purity and the piece's European journey.
