Enchanting and romantic, large antique 18th century Georgian period heart motif rose cut diamond 14K gold and silver topped gold engagement ring Composed of a central Rose cut diamond surrounded by eight pear shaped diamonds with heart shaped motifs between each within a striking reticulated design. The band with attractive naturalistic foliate design. The diamonds are set in silver on a closed gold backing, as consistent with Georgian pieces from the late 18th century. The foliate engraved original band tests for 14K gold. Heart motif Georgian jewels are highly desirable and are seldom seen.
