A beautiful antique 4.97ct old cushion cut diamond three stone ring set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.
The ring is centrally set with a stunning antique old cushion cut diamond which is certified as a natural fancy light yellow. The diamond is securely four claw set in yellow gold and sided by two perfectly matched modern pear cut diamonds, set in platinum to enhance their white colouring.
What makes this ring so special is the large central old cushion cut diamond which is a true one-of-a-kind! Old cut diamonds were cut by hand over 100 years ago, meaning every old cut is unique in themselves! This one is extra special as it is a natural fancy light yellow diamond - which is hard to come by in the antique cuts.
For size reference, the head of the ring measures 11 x 19-millimetres. The central old cushion cut diamond is certified as 4.97 carats, Fancy Light Yellow with SI1 clarity. The siding pear brilliant cut diamonds have a combined weight of 0.60 carats, ranging H in colour with SI clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size N but can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is made of 18k gold and platinum. Although the diamond is over 100 years old, it has since been reset in a secure modern setting so that it can be worn and passed down for future generations.
