Antique diamond two stone cross over engagement ring. Set diagonally with two round old cut diamonds, approximately K/L colour, approximately VS2/SI1 clarity, with weights of 2.28 carats and 2.18 carats in open back eight claw settings, further set with eighteen round single cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.66 carats, to an elegant crossover design with finely pierced collets with foliate motifs and intricate backholing, flanked by petal shaped split shoulders which lead smoothly down to a solid grooved D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services jewellery report #5775-1719.
