GIA ART DECO CARRE DIAMOND AND RUBY PLATINUM RING This precious and highly collectible, late Edwardian- to- early Art Deco jewel, in glorious red and white, represent some of the finest examples of diamond, platinum jewelry in existence , comes to us from the first decade of the twentieth century, Circa 1915. A perfect alternative to a traditional Engagement Ring, this would also make a fantastic Anniversary or "right hand ring" for anyone who loves European craftsmanship and design. Art Deco jewelry or just one of a kind wearable works of art! This is truly a wonderful, special, spectacular, lover's ring. The center of attention is stunning 0.76ct CARRE Emerald Step Cut Diamond, accompanied by GIA certificate and graded as I color VS1 clarity. Very White and Clear. GREAT CUT and AMAZING BRILLIANCE! The measurements are 6.93x3.91x2.81mm. Very Good Polish, Good Symmetry. No Fluorescence. You will appreciate the beauty of the rare Carre step cut with this Super Well cut Diamond! Beautiful shape. The diamond is accompanied by two natural triangular shaped Rubies , also accompanied by GIA certificate, and weighing about 1.0 carats in total also set in platinum bezels. The rubies are very bright red and clear and certainly add a dramatic splash of color. This stunning Ring additionally encrusted with 92 Old cut Diamonds, estimated total weight is 1.0 carats. G-H color, VS-SI clarity Overall. Beautiful Band with state of the art open work features strong details. The North-South length is 13.79mm and East-West width is 20.81mm- Gorgeous dome ring. Sits on the finger - 5.28mm, 2.46mm on the bottom. Stamp: PT950. Weight 8.18gramm (5.30 dwt). Measurements: The ring is an approximate size 8 1/4 on the mandrel. Property of a Lady, Naperville, Illinois. Condition: This ring is in very good antique condition with strong original details. The setting has wonderful open work, as beautiful mille-grained edges, and a soft carved design down the shank that shows little the wear of a well loved ring. The platinum has maintained the excellent condition of this gorgeous lacy engagement ring through over hundred years of daily wear. With respectful everyday use the heirloom quality ring will last for generations to come. The diamonds are in great condition, light wear to rubies ( barely noticeable). This ring is perhaps the nicest original example of Art Deco design we have had seeing in a long time. Superficial tiny scratches are consistent with wear.
