Art Deco Inspired Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring Set in Platinum
About the Item
A rather unique Art Deco inspired square diamond engagement ring set in platinum.
This beautiful piece is predominantly set with a lovely old European cut diamond which is securely four claw set to centre. The old cut diamond is set within a square motif with raised tapered sections to each corner. The square motif is pave set throughout with round brilliant cut diamonds adding the perfect amount of additional sparkle to the design. The head of the ring then flows seamlessly round to a 2 millimetre band.
Although a modern ring, the design echo’s that of the Art Deco era and is a true one-of-a-kind piece. The spread of the ring head is extremely elegant and because the setting is simple it can easily be stacked with other rings such as an eternity or wedding band.
The ring is currently a UK finger size L, USA size 5 3/4, but this can be resized for a perfect fit. There is an estimated total old European diamond weight of 0.48 carats which is estimated to be H in colour with VS clarity. There is a remaining diamond weight of 0.40 carats. The ring weighs a total of 3.1 grams.
For size reference the ring head measures 1.0 x 1.0 centimetres.
