Art Deco Platinum Asscher Cut Diamond Engagement Ring 1.50ct
About the Item
This diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era is a breathtaking beauty! Resting at the center of a platinum setting is a stunning 1.50ct Asscher Cut diamond. This particular modification of an Emerald Cut diamond is also known as an "Asscher Cut," recognized for its clipped corners and square shape. The prong-set stone exhibits K color and VS2 clarity, sparkling brilliantly as it catches the light with every turn. Two baguette diamonds rest on either side of the center stone, each pair held together in a bezel setting, all four collectively weighing 0.12ctw. The ring has an overall diamond carat weight of 1.62ctw, creating a beautiful and feminine eye-catching array with a signature Art Deco appeal. Finishing the design are delicate airline cutouts below the mounting and a smoothly polished band that graduates slightly towards the back. Accompanying the ring is a diamond grading report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) on July 13, 2015 (Report No. 1207358268), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. Once purchased, the ring may also be evaluated by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist to determine a retail replacement value. A truly spectacular diamond ring, it has a radiant appearance and makes an impressive statement when worn. It would make a wonderful engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 5.75, but could be resized if desired. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
