This is an gorgeous example of an Edwardian era sapphire ring! The stunning 3.51 carat deep royal blue sapphire sits proudly in a crown like eight prong solitaire head! Adding to the already impressive history of this piece is the fact the that the sapphires are of the very desirable "ceylon" origin. The ring is crafted in platinum and accents the impressive center with two simple rose cut diamonds on either side of the solitaire and a simple scroll design etched along the sides of the shoulders. This piece is in amazing condition considering the age and would make an excellent addition to any antique jewelry lover's collection.
