Emerald and Diamond Five-Stone Half Hoop Ring
About the Item
An emerald and diamond five-stone Victorian style ring, the three old octagonal-cut emeralds weighing 1.29 carats, accompanied by GCS report stating to be of Colombian origin, claw set between two old European-cut diamonds each estimated to weigh approximately 0.5 carats, with rose-cut diamond points between, all mounted in yellow gold mount with scroll carved gallery and carved shoulders, hallmarked 18 carat gold London 1984, the head measuring 0.6x2.3cm, finger size L, gross weight 4.9 grams.
This emerald ring is in excellent condition.
This fabulous Victorian style ring comes from Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Wonderful, twinkling diamonds are set between bright and verdant emeralds, making a colourful and romantic statement. The yellow gold scroll mount is in the style of a mount that was popular in the nineteenth century, and pairs beautifully with the bright and lively stones. This piece would make a stunning engagement ring.
