About the Item

This superb and ravishing beauty ring displays a subtle combination of Edwardian and Art Deco design characteristics. Big, beautiful and brilliant! Circa 1915s . A stunning showstopper, this bold and breathtaking European-cut diamond, weighing 1.52carat, will steal the stage. GIA certified I color ( face up really white) SI2 clarity ( eye clean ) diamond sparkles mightily from within a crisp square diamond - cornered platinum top softened below by a graceful filigree gallery with triple-sided hand engraving and delicate milgraining on the ring shank. The magnificent ring sparkles on all sides with an additional 20 Old cut H-I color, VS- SI clarity sides, totaling to estimated 0.40ct diamonds adorned with decorative hand piercing, and delicate milgrain details. Six graduated most likely synthetic french cut sapphires give splash of a color totaling in weight - approx. 0.45ct. These Old Euro Rounds are so magical! The facets are large, chunky and beautiful and the brilliance is tantalizing! The total weight of the diamonds is 2.37ct. Sits medium on the finger - 5.44mm, very shiny and brilliant. Size 5 1/2 ( sizable ) Weight of 4.31grams.The band bottom width - 1.69mm. The top measures - 8.22mmx6.96mm Condition: Crafted in Platinum ( tested ) . The setting has wonderful open work, as each surrounding diamond has beautiful mil-grained edges, and a soft carved design down the shank that shows little wear of a well loved ring. The platinum has maintained the excellent condition of this gorgeous lacy engagement ring through nearly hundred years of daily wear.
