Victorian Emerald and Diamond Three-Stone Ring
About the Item
A Victorian emerald and diamond three-stone ring, the cushion-shape faceted emerald, weighing 1.88 carats, set between two round old European-cut diamonds weighing 2.30 carats in total, all claw-set with old-cut diamonds in-between, to a gold mount with scroll engraved sides and shoulders, marked 18ct, circa 1890, head measuring 0.9x2.2cm, gross weight 5.2 grams. Finger size O
This ring is in very good condition, signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece.
A beautiful Victorian ring from the extensive antique ring collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This piece features a gorgeous central emerald boarded on either side by a dazzling diamond. Three stone rings are romantic, symbolising a couple’s past, present and future, making this ring a perfect antique engagement ring.
