2.19 Carat of Tsavorites and Diamond Gold Ring
About the Item
When Elke saw this bypass ring, she thought it would look great with a pair of pear Tsavorite Garnets. So instead of making a pair of earrings, we set this 2.19 carats pair in a ring.
The ring is done in 14-karat white gold with 15 small baguette diamonds with a total weight of 0.43 carats. The medium green center-stones are Tsavorite Garnet from Tanzania. This material is found in the same place as the Tanzanites and as fewer Tanzanites are being found so goes the rarity of the Tsavorite Garnets.
The ring is sizable and is a US size 7 1/4.
The picture with the blue background shows the ring under longwave UV light. This is a little known phenomenon of the green garnets found in the Merelani Hills of Tanzania.
