Aquamarine Ruby Snake Ring Serpent Double Head Gold Plated Silver Ouroboros Double Serpent Ring Aquamarine Ruby Gold Plated Silver Ouroboros Coiled Snake Statement Designer: J DAUPHIN The Double Serpent Ring is handcrafted in gold plated silver as two entwined snakes, their smooth coiled bodies wound around the finger. The two heads face outward, one crowned with a marquise cut aquamarine, the other with a marquise cut ruby. The bodies interlace into a wide raised band. The serpent is one of the oldest and most universal symbols, carried across cultures as a figure of transformation, wisdom, and rebirth, the snake that sheds its skin to begin again. In Victorian jewelry it stood for eternal love and cyclical time, the ouroboros that takes its own tail read as continuity and endless return. Two heads facing outward hold the tension between opposing forces, past and future, cool and warm. The aquamarine on one head brings the note of clarity, calm, and safe passage, the stone of the sea, while the ruby on the other carries vital force and courage, so the two heads balance the cool and the living warmth. J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection and alignment and healing.
