About the Item
A cabochon ruby and 18 karat yellow gold double finger ring, by Solange Azagury-Partridge, 2002. This is an unforgettable ring, very rarely available, and surprisingly easy to wear. While Solange chose to call it a "Broken Heart" ring, we call it our "Never Apart" heart ring for the way the two halves of the heart fit together.
The two parts consist of two sizes, a size 7 and a size 5.5 which fit readily together. Stamped SA-P, London Hallmarks for 750 and date letter 'C' for 2002. It has a hidden engraving.
British jeweler Solange Azagury- Patridge designed her first jewel in 1987 when she couldn’t find an engagement ring that she liked. This path has led many great female designers to join the pantheon of self-taught jewelers who have reshaped the industry and today, Azagury-Patridge’s creations are in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London as well as Musee des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2001 she was hired as the Creative Director at Boucheron, appointed by Tom Ford, but soon afterwards launched her own highly successful brand in London. Passionate about color, her creations are always innovative, exuberant and daring. They bring joy. Azagury- Patridge became a household name during the COVID pandemic when she was asked to host the popular BBC/HBO Max talent competition “All that Glitters."
