Delicate geometric granulation surrounds this juicy pinkish 6.2 carat watermelon tourmaline faceted octagon. Lots of light and internal reflection makes for a very lively stone. Handmade in matt 22K gold in a signature Steven Battelle "v-bezel with jawan" setting. The stone size 9x14mm. Total weight 9.74 grams. Currently sized 6.5, but can be resized.

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
