14k Gold Vintage Pave Diamond and Ruby Fox Head Ring
About the Item
This striking ring features a sterling silver fox head with 27 pave rose-cut diamonds that are bead set (approximately .5mm to 1mm each) and 2 ruby eyes (approximately 1.5 mm each). The band is 14k gold and has scrolling floral detailing down both sides. It’s a size 8.5 and has a low profile design that will not catch on clothing. The ring weighs 2 grams.
This vintage ring is masterfully crafted in an Edwardian Revival style, using the symbol of the fox that was prevalent in the Edwardian and Victorian era when fox hunting was popular. Today, fox symbology is often connected to the animal’s intelligence and unique ability to survive tricky situations. This ring would be a wonderful present for any fox lover and might just conjure up some fox-like energy! Circa 1980.
