Aziza-Abdullah.Nicole is a Brooklyn-based sculptor, painter, and builder who grew up in P.G. County, Maryland (DMV). She was raised in the arts, and in museums, after her mother noticed art was her therapy. Through exploring various art forms, Aziza gravitated toward creating sculptures from wax and metal, more commonly known as jewelry. As an artist who creates with love and intention, she draws inspiration from beauty, history, and her multi-layered heritage, creating a unisex collection of protective layerings and heirlooms that can be passed on for generations. ______________________________________ This piece is part of the NYCJW HERE WE ARE Marketplace.
