About the Item
Glittering dramatic 14 carat red Ruby set upside down in this beautiful artistic unique 14Kt yellow gold ring size 7 (sizable for free). The gemstone measures approximately 17mm x 12.80mm. There are no eye visible inclusion in the Ruby when you look through the back of the gemstone. This is a heat treated Ruby. This technique has been used for centuries to treat Ruby gemstones. It is used to improve the clarity and color of Rubies.

Martha lived in Brazil for over 15 years and her travels have taken her to various mining regions within Brazil, South Africa, and the Far East to examine and handpick the gemstones for the Aria Collections. Kathy lives by the motto, "Go Big or Go Home," and fell in love with jewelry design when she met founder Hans Stern, a pioneer in designing jewelry with Brazil's vibrantly colored gemstones, Mr. Stern invited her to his workroom, shared his expertise - and she was hooked. Martha and Kathy met while living in Rio de Janeiro and they have been design partners and friends ever since.
