Amazing electric blue zircon set in a 1940s platinum mounting. The stone is measured to weigh approximately 8cts. The double refraction (a physical phenomenon) gives the zircon an interesting play of light. Turning the ring upside down on its' table and placing it over some printed letter, you will see these letter duplicated. The blue zircon is also one of Decembers’ birthstones. - Blue Zircon weighing approximately 8cts - Size 6.75, sizable - 4.2 grams - 2.7 dwt
