Rare antique Georgian Portrait Moss Agate 18K yellow gold signet ring 19th Century Moss agate, a mesmorizing variety of calcedony, has captivated the imagination of some of the most prominent jewelers in the world including Cartier, Faberge, JAR and Verdura. The intricate, moss-like inclusions imbue this enchanting gem with a unique elegance and calming energy. It is said to possess profound healing properties. Faberge in particular, was enamoured with moss agete, incorporating it into pendants, brooches, rings and objects d'art. This elegant ring features an attractive rectangular shaped 19mm by 8mm dendritic moss agate in predominently green tones ranging from deep forest green to a light celadon green.
