About the Item

An impressive vintage 1940s 1.49 carat diamond and platinum three stone ring; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive trilogy engagement ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, geometric design displays a central feature 0.68 Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond. The feature diamond is flanked on either side by a slightly smaller 0.41 Ct and 0.40 Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, completing the three stone arrangement. The pierced decorated, elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the mark for platinum (PLAT), however this is partially worn and only the 'AT' is visible. This impressive three stone engagement ring is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This impressive vintage platinum trilogy engagement ring is fine quality set with three very high color graded diamonds, all displaying a fine white color brilliance and presence. The ring is a very good gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a partially worn hallmark to the interior of the shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of diamond jewelry/estate jewelry.
