Antique Triple Snake Ring with Ruby, Diamond, and Sapphire in 15ct Gold

About the Item

A captivating antique ring dating to 1890–1900, designed as three intertwined snakes crafted in 15 karat gold, each adorned with a natural and untreated ruby, diamond, and sapphire set upon their heads. The triad of gemstones introduces rich color and brilliance, while the entwined serpents symbolize eternity, unity, and protection—motifs deeply associated with late Victorian jewelry. The face of the ring measures 0.6 inches north to south and weighs 6.30 grams, offering a refined yet noticeable presence. It is presented in good antique condition, with light surface wear to the table facet of the ruby and sapphire and one small nick to the girdle of the ruby. Currently a size 5.5, the ring may be resized for an additional charge. Metal authenticity has been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming solid 15k gold construction. A richly symbolic and highly collectible example of Victorian serpent jewelry.
