22 Karat Yellow Gold Hercules Knot Ring by Romae Jewelry Inspired by Ancient Designs. Love as an unbreakable bond - this is the message of our signature "Amor" ring, based on a gorgeous Hellenistic Greek example at the Villa Giulia Etruscan museum in Rome, Italy, dating to the third century BC. Perfect for men and women, our ring is available in sizes 4 to 14. The ancient Hercules knot, the inspiration for the expression "to tie the knot" when referring to marriage, becomes tighter and more secure the more it is pulled. To us, there is no better expression of true and unconditional love. "Amor" in Latin means "love."
Each piece of Romae jewelry is inspired by an ancient example, and is carefully designed and lovingly crafted in Rome by archaeologist and museum specialist Cris and artist Elena. Our pieces are made to order, and each is individually cast, hand finished and personalized, which allows for freedom of stone choice and special tailoring such as inscriptions and engravings. When shipped, each piece of Romae jewelry arrives with a product card that provides information about the culture, date, and find spot of the original piece of jewelry that inspired our design. Lead time: 4 - 5 weeks.
